We work across Greater London: north, south, east and west. Our office is at 429 Oakleigh Road North, London N20 0RU, in the London Borough of Barnet, and much of our workforce lives in Barnet and North London.

Most of our work is carried out by our own directly employed tradespeople and site managers. Where a project needs a particular specialist trade, we bring in vetted specialists and supervise them through our own site managers, so you deal with one company from start to finish.

AGL Construction Services is accredited with the Gas Safe Register, NICEIC, Constructionline, Competent Roofer and CHAS Elite.

Yes. We guarantee our workmanship for two years from completion. Materials and products made by others carry their manufacturer’s own warranty.

Everyone on our team holds the CSCS card for their role, and our site managers and supervisors are SMSTS trained. Our teams are also trained in asbestos awareness, first aid at work, working at height, manual handling and scaffold inspection.

Yes. We support Barnet Homes’ community and social causes with regular financial donations, and our teams carry out work for them free of charge.

Minor voids are typically completed in 1 to 15 days and major voids in 15 to 25 days, depending on scope. Every property is handed back at minimum lettable standard, free of defects, with gas and electrical certification complete.

We complete more than 1,000 void refurbishments a year for social and private landlords across Greater London.

Yes. Much of our planned and damp and mould work is in occupied homes. We agree with the landlord how residents will be kept informed, protect homes while we work and leave work areas safe and tidy every day. In Islington we refurbished an occupied block without moving a single resident out.

Yes. We inspect the property, find the cause, carry out lasting remediation and give the landlord a clear report for every case, helping them respond quickly and meet their obligations, including under Awaab’s Law.

Yes. AGL is a member of a number of public-sector frameworks. Our contracts team can tell you which ones your organisation can use to appoint us.

Yes. We act as principal contractor under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, planning, managing and monitoring the construction phase of the work.

Yes. We work with your architect and structural engineer and take care of planning permission and building regulations approval as part of the project.

We build dormer, hip-to-gable and mansard loft conversions, including the structural work, staircase, insulation and fire separation, rooflights and en-suite bathrooms.

We build single- and double-storey extensions, from groundworks and steels through to the finished kitchen and decoration, in materials matched to your house.

Yes. One AGL site manager runs your job from start to finish, keeps the site safe and tidy, and keeps you up to date throughout.

Yes. In Camden we refurbished a Victorian house throughout, bringing its services up to date while keeping its cornicing, fireplaces and original floors.

Yes. We deliver new builds from the groundworks up, such as our recent new build in Barnet.

Yes. Disruptive work can be scheduled out of hours or at weekends, and phased so that you can keep trading while we work. Working areas are kept safe, clean and secure.

We fit out and refurbish offices, shops and restaurants, from strip-out, partitions and ceilings to electrical and data, heating and ventilation, washrooms, flooring, shopfronts and decoration.
